Renegade Line is a 3rd person cartoon shooter mixed with MMORPG elements. The game features 2 Factions and 4 different Classes with unique Talents and Weapons to make every fight an interesting battle of who uses his Talents and weapons the best.

You may create up to 4 characters per account by default, although you can purchase additional ones. Character creation is simple: Select a faction, a class and customize the looks of your character. Complete the creation by giving your character a lovely, or hilarious, name and jump into battle!

Since Renegade Line is a multiplayer game, we always strive to keep it fresh by adding new game modes and having 100 Levels for you to reach.

Additionally, you will be able to prove your skill in the Ranked Gamemode, where you can climb the ladder and become the best player in the world. This goes hand in hand with our big goal of creating a new eSports compatible game that requires good tactics as well as exceptional mechanical skills of the individual player.

Completely customize your character to make it truly yours by combining hundreds of different clothing items. You can buy complete outfits or create your own. To perfect your style, you will also be able to buy awesome looking weapon and vehicle Skins, which differ in rarity.

The main gamemode allows up to 8 players on each side, for a total of 16 players in one game!

How does Renegade Line work

It's quite simple: After you create your account, you will be able to create your first character. Each character is unique, with its own name, facial features, outfits, class, weapons and weapon skins. Let's run through the creation process together.

1. Choose your Faction

There are two factions to choose from, Wickeds and Residents.

The two Factions will have the same Classes to choose from, but the Weapons as well as certain Cosmetics will be different. Each factions weapons, however, will have the same damage, to make sure the game is balanced and does not feel unfair.

Wickeds and Residents will also have differing clothes and skins choices for their weapons.

2. Decide which Class you want to play

The 4 Classes consist of the following Spotter, Tank, Thief and Sniper.

Each class will have their own individual and unique Talents as well.

A summary of the classes Spotter: The supporter, has various talents which allow him to spot enemies, heal teammates and revive teammates. Tank: Protects his teammates by using different shields and by absorbing hits. Sniper: Takes out enemies from a long distance, and provide cover for his teammates. Thief: Very agile, takes out single targets quickly and quietly.

3. Play the game

You can play casually until level 30 and unlock all your Talent points.

Once you hit level 30 you become eligible to play Ranked Games. These games will give you a permanent rating depending on your performance. The better your performance, the higher your rank will be.

Each of the ratings are as follows: Wooden, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platin, and Diamond.
Note: Diamond is unconfirmed, as only the first 5 rank names, were revealed in a Q&A video, but there are 6 on the Kickstarter rank image, and no names were mentioned.

Tournaments

Raw Vengeance will also host some Tournaments between clans and players when everything is set, the game is stable, and has a stable player base.
A tournament called RG League is visible under competitive on the Renegade Line website, but not much is known about it currently.

There's no info about if players will able to host tournaments them self, without renting a server. And if some sponsored skins or Character Styles will be available.

Servers

In the Alpha state, all Servers will be hosted by Raw Vengeance Games.

Everyone who pledged at least €80 to the Kickstarter campaign, will get three months for free at the beta release, and likely others who did not pledge will be able to rent servers as well.

There's currently no info about, how much the servers will cost to rent per month.

Vehicles

Vehicles Will be implemented before the Beta release of the game. However, the developers have already revealed that they plan to implement many different Vehicles, including Tanks, Planes, and Jeeps.

See Vehicles for more information.
